RavenholmHalf-Life 2 mod | Released Sep 15, 2007The atmosphere in the original HL2 game was both interesting, and terrefying, and that is the driving force behind our choice on creating a modifacation on that enviroment alone. All maps from this modifacation have a very similar kind of feel of atmosphere and gameplay from the original Ravenholm, but with an different and expanded story, and many new locations. So, you will find yourself battleing many more Zombies, Headcrabs, and more. Developers of this mod are from Czech republic so we apologize for any English errors. How Ravenholm continues? 7 comments by -Lord- on Nov 10th, 2007 digg this super bookmark Picking up the story after John's escape from Ravenholm, you will visit new locations and meet new characters as you are taken prisoner by the Combine in City 24 and are reunited with an old friend from your resistance fighter days in City 17. Now he appears to be the key to unlocking the next chapter of your forgotten past. Current plans are to utilise the latest Source SDK therefore Half Life 2: Episode Two will be required to run the modification. To be honest... I didn't like it, I don't know how this got an 8.1. It was okay at first, then it started to feel VERY repetitive and boring. The engrish was horrible. Why didn't you ask someone to proof read it!? All you had to do is take 2 minutes to post it in any forum. What was the point of all the batteries I kept finding if you didn't add a suit? The story didn't really make any sense either and felt thrown together.
The only thing I liked about it was the fact that the person who made the levels seems to really know their way around the level editor. By that, I mean they knew how to make everything work without any screw ups, how to use all the effects, interactive objects and traps, etc... but thats really the only thing I liked.
PLEASE next time have someone proof read... and more shotgun ammo please... a LOT more.

um no you will get the garv gun when you finish and go to the end of the chapter selection you can get it by going in it
When opening the developer's console, I noticed quite a lot of errors. Also, in game, I noticed a crate with a gravity gun symbol next to it, yet I did not have a gravity gun. Could I have been "errored" out of a gravity gun? I noticed that I had to noclip through a lot of areas because there was simply no way for me to get out otherwise. Even once I had looked at the area from all angles, inside and out I couldn't figure out how to do it without a gravity gun. Some of them, I couldn't even figure out how a gravity gun would have finished it either.

i just compleated this mod and i think its very well made i recomend it very good story line 10/10 :D
