Definitely decrease the video quality, and the audio quality if that's what it sounds like in-game.
Other than that, cool idea.
how you did it? animated texture? O.o
Yup. So far I can fit 1,000+ frames at 15 FPS.
That means just over a minute per texture, so for a 3 minute video it has to be separated into 3 textures.
I'm pretty sure the VTF format can handle more, but the program I am using 'VTFEdit', has a limit to how many characters can be used when opening files at a time, and doesn't let you add additional after.
I'm looking into doing it the manual way to see if I can fit more like 3,000 frames into the VTF.
Audio is synced using entity/triggers in Hammer.
Why you dont use that Valve material editor?
Just run a source game with the parameter: -tools
To do what? I don't see anything in there for helping me with doing the animated VTF.
