Rational Gameplay Settings
Full VersionExtract the file to your Fallout 3\Data folder and activate via Fallout 3 launcher to play.
Description:
A rather simple mod that changes some general aspects of the game to make gameplay more enjoyable AND less annoying.
Installing:
- Extract "Rational Gameplay Settings.esp" file to "Fallout 3\Data" folder.
- Activate the plugin from Fallout 3 launcher and play.
Changes:
- Weapons and armor last longer. (Ranged weapons last 10x longer)
[Your weapons no longer turn into junk after firing a couple of rounds.]
- Overall damage is 25% increased with all weapons.
- Player takes 75% damage during VATS instead of 10% as in vanilla settings.
[No more "God Mode" during VATS.]
- Limb explosions/dismemberment is greatly reduced.
[Limbs no longer blast into pieces after every 10mm pistol combat.]
- General movement speed is increased by 12%.
- Maximum damage resistance is increased from 85% to 95%.
- Sniper Rifle and Unique variants deal more damage.

- Chinese Sword and Unique variant deal more damage, more limb damage and critical damage.

How hard would it be to model weapons and armor?
As old as Fallout3 is, I still have not gotten bored playing it, BUT...
1) I'd love the weapons to have a little more mass to them, some of them look like toys in your hands, they're small.
2) The power-armor is just too bulky, take some mass out, make it more of a suite rather than huge junks of armor welded to your body.
Just some suggestions, I've never modded before and don't know what goes into it, but these are some things I'd love to see.
