very beautiful. will the local units(like Corellian, MC, and others) be available to the CIS as well?

Thanks, I'm really happy with this ship. One of my better ones in a long time.

For native militias, the CIS will have the ability to construct planetary ships, but not on the level of the Republic.

The CIS will be able to build Gauntlet, Nantex, and Umbaran fighters, and the Umbaran Support ship. These units will have special properties to them, but nothing crucial to winning a war. The main focus will be their regular ships (Munificent, Recusant, Providence, Droid Carrier), which can be built anywhere.

The Republic on the other hand, can't build ships as easily as the CIS will. They'll have to field native starships for their navy, or construct an expensive shipyard.

It is indeed, but still no match for the POWAH of the Deathstar!

Loving this ship, I may field it inside a battlegroup circulating around a Venator or to assist the Mk I Acclamator in combat.

Does it have some form of fighter compliment? If so, it should only be able to field atleast one squadron of some old Pre-Clone Wars Fighters.

Glad to hear it

Not sure, but this ship will most likely not have a fighter squadron.

"...remove all GAR starship production from every planet, except Coruscant, and Kuat."

You're forgetting Anaxes, a major shipyard that also produced ships like the Venator and the Acclamator. Which makes that 3 planets that can produce all GAR starships depending on tech level.

Whoops, that's a good catch. I'll have to be sure to include Anaxes as well.

Rothana did produce the Acclamators primarily as well as the AT series tanks, so that makes four planets that produce GAR equipment exclusively; Kuat, Coruscant, Anaxes and Rothana.

Now that I'm thinking about it, there's also Rendili.

Rendili only produced Dreadnoughts (although they co-desighned the victory) though and nearly defected ( or did ) to the CIS, perhaps Rendili is more of a local fleet but perhaps under the Republic they can produce both the victory and dreadnoughts and under the CIS only dreadnoughts

Okay sounds like we've got like 5 planets that produce GAR equipment exclusively; Kuat, Rendili, Coruscant, Anaxes, and Rothana, and maybe Lothal as well since by the time of the Empire, it was already a major industrial world that produced tanks, star fighters, and starships, making the total of six planets that produce GAR and later IAF (Imperial Armed Forces) equipment exclusively.

After some digging, the planned list is Anaxes, Bestine, Corellia, Coruscant, Duro, Eriadu, Fondor, Geonosis, Hypori, Kuat, Minntooine, MonCalimari, Pammant, Raxus, Rothana, Rendili, Sullust, and Sluis Van.

As for Lothal, it's currently not planned, but it's possible in the future.

Well, I'm less concerned with the ships said planet built, and more if they have a standing orbital shipyard. Kuat has Kuat Drive Yards, Rothana has Rothana Heavy Engineering, and Rendili has Rendili StarDrive.

Alright, sounds like we have a working planet list for GAR/IAF/CIS starship production as well as local ship production for planets such as Umbara, Mandalore, Dac (Mon Cal Homeworld) and Corellia. So this would be pretty much what is needed to be in 0.9. We've got a plan of action!

Wow, is that the CD-710 Corellian Destroyer I spot here?
These things may be no Star Destroyer, but they certainly do pack quite a punch and if I remember correctly they also have some Ion Cannons, something the Venator, Victory or Dreadnaught don't have.

Description

So I decided to rehaul the Clone Commandos. The last ones were great, but I wasn't a huge fan of their textures. Thankfully, it's possible to export the Commandos with rigging from RC.

First off, I've got four squads ready to go for 0.9. As is fairly obvious from their markings, it's Delta, Omega, Aiwha, and Blue squad, with several more on the way.

Next, I've got some new ships for space combat. The Broadside is an experimental, and expensive ship, but also very powerful with it's missile tubes. The Tartan has been reclassified as a light frigate (It's 250 meters), with a variety of lasers to deal with fighters, and corvettes (Of certain types) but will get creamed in a frigate v frigate slugging fight.

The Corellian Destroyer is part of something bigger that I'm thinking of trying. Currently, most planets can build any starship no matter what. But my new plan would remove all GAR starship production from every planet, except Coruscant, and Kuat. In place of the missing ships, you'd be able to build local starships (IE: Mon Calamari-MC55, Corellia-CR-90, Corellian Destroyer, and so on). With the option to build a specialized ship yard above a planet.

A light shipyard would build corvettes, and low grade frigates. A medium shipyard would build medium and heavy frigates. And a large shipyard would build capital ships. Each shipyard would have a build cap on how many can be built at a time.
