The thing I like about skirmish is it allows you to test things quickly and easily with only adding a few lines of code.

So? I can easily add a blue ring with Paint.Net.

Only reason I'm not sure about asking to use it, is because of consistancy. I'm talking to Doci about updating some textures to be similar.

oh and are the lucrehulks op like in other mods or are they more, because lucrehulks are mainly carriers not battleships

"Each ship was also now so powerful due to the increased amount of power devoted to offensive and defensive systems that a whole flotilla of Republic Star Destroyers was needed just to bring down a Lucrehulk's shields."

No, they're one of the CIS's greatest weapon. I need to get a new model and rig that, but the Lucrehulk will be on-par with the ISD.

Thank god, in some other mods you wouks need to have at least 5 venators to kill it

There's a reason why the Lucrehulk was such an effective blockade vessel which most, if not all Clone Wars Era mods seem to recognize and as such, it would be incredibly underwhelming if its combat effectiveness was significantly reduced. Three to five Venators against an unsupported Lucrehulk is reasonable.

I am not saying that you shouldnt need 3 venators but 5-7 would be stretchikg it too far, i think 3 is reasonable

5 should be fine. It's a massive 3000 meter long ship, about double that of an ISD. Natually it will be able to take more damage, and have room for additional weapons or defenses.

Its a battleship, not too unreasonable given its stated to require a group to bring down.

The Late-republic equivelant (close, but not as strong) would be a secutor

Not exactly as there exist several "variants" of Lucrehulks and they are all "Carriers" to an extent because they can carry 1500 fighters in the ring structure.
The Pre-Clone Wars Lucrehulk (seen in Episode I) was little more than a true repurposed freighter armed with nothing more than a few Turbolasers and numerous Quad-Laser Cannons (this is the variant that is used by the mod Thrawn's Revenge/Imperial Civil war).
The Droid Control Ship variant had mainly the same medium weaponry but stronger shields.
The third variant however is the Lucrehulk Battleship and that is the one seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and most Clone Wars era FoC mods like Republic at War, Battlefront Commander or this one.
The Battleship variant of the Lucrehulk used during the Clone Wars was much beefed up compared to its older cousins in terms of both weaponry and shields so needing three Venators to just punch through its shields is rather reasonable since the Venator, while being the workhouse and standard of the Republic, isn't a battleship but a Medium Capital ship/carrier hybrid.

If we're talking about an one on one duel the Republic will need something bigger than a Venator to go against the Lucrehulk, either an Imperator-class, Legacy-class or the Rothana Destroyer.

I personally don't understand the joy of skirmish (Might be because hard AI was kind of easy to push over), but here you guys go. In 0.9 AI should work in space skirmish. If it doesn't, just put the scripts folder into the vanilla FoC data folder when the time comes.
