Raising the Bar is a mod based off of the idea of amalgamating the earliest concepts of Half-Life 2 into a coherent story. This mod is not a leak-fix, nor is it a concept art recreation gallery; it will be a full story with inspiration from the old material as well as our own ideas of how to make it all fit together.

The Raising the Bar Development Team is looking for environmental texture artists. We need experienced individuals who can make high-quality textures, as well as knowing how to make textures specifically for the Source engine.

We are generally going to be needing textures that are gritty, dirty, and dark, and there will be a good mix of organic, metallic, and other varying surfaces. We also are going to be remaking older, lower-quality textures from scratch.

Also, a very helpful trait would be knowing at least a decent amount of information about the Half-Life 2 leak and concepts centered around its early development stages, as we are heavily influencing our mod's design around these ideas. If one wants to learn more about this before applying, there is a Half-Life 2 Wiki page that gives a brief (relatively speaking) overview of some of the cut concepts. It can be found here:

Last but not least, we need any volunteers to be available on the weekends for our weekly developer meetings. We mainly use Skype, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
