Rainy Days is an exciting story driven map for the first person shooter Crysis. It thrusts players into an exciting story driven mod with teamfights and rain scenario.
Our dream was to build a map like it existed in our fantasy, it was a hard way but I think in a few months we are going to release it :D
Hello and welcome to our first media update on Mod DB and maybe the last one before the release. As you may know, Rainy Days is a mod from a few members are loving Crysis and wants to see their ideas in the game. It's not a total conversation or something you maybe think of, if you hear the word "mod", cause we are using the original assets only. But it's a very ambitious project and my plan was to make more than just another "run across the island and kill all enemy's" map. The "features" could be read in our mod summary so please check out the newest game play screenshots and tell me what you think about this mod. ;D
For the 3rd year running the time has come to kick off Mod Appreciation Week 2017 and talk about our favorite mods. To thank those from our community who participate in spreading the love and awareness, we have partnered up with some friends of Mod DB and have a bunch of Steam keys to giveaway:
Nothing is more motivating than knowing something you've built is being enjoyed by others. So this week if there is a mod you love on Mod DB (or anywhere else), make the effort to shout out to them, mention and link their mod in a tweet, blog, forum or facebook post with the hashtag #modlove2017
After you have linked to a mod in a tweet, blog, forum or facebook post, let us know by leaving a comment with a link to your post. At the end of the week we shall be picking a few members at random who followed these rules, and will send them a key from one of the above games.
