The map seen in this image has been in the body image for months, since I've been doing some work on that map lately I figured I'd post a proper image of the area!
A large portion of the stranded HECU forces remaining in the facility have taken shelter in the Communications Center in an effort to send out a distress signal themselves, only thing is, they still ain't too keen on letting you live.
Another update? So soon? Ah, you will spoil us Mr. Rain ;) .
As always, I really like the mapping and lighting in here, but, I do have some suggestions this time around:
-Try to align the red beams of light with their light sources.
-I am not really sure if I like the new muzzle flash. Maybe it looks good in-game, but I believe that it is too reddish. Did you made them yourself? Maybe add some yellow in the sprite?
-You can see the texture misalignment between the bottom and top sandbags. Try to align them, but make sure each part (bottom/top) finishes with a whole sandbag (you actually made it like this, but, just try to align the two piles ;) ).
-I believe the fire sprite is a bit too low-poly, in comparison with the muzzle flash ones. But, that doesn't really bother me.
Also, finally some proper pipe-texture alignment and proper use of the LAB1_W1 or AIR_C1 texture for the pipe 'opening'. People tend to just cover them with a black texture.
This chapter looks like it involves a lot of fierce fights, can't wait to pick up my MP5 and venture in there :D . Any ETA for the new video?

Thank you! No worries, I'll have all of those misalignments fixed up when I go back through for polishing & detailing. The muzzleflash is red for the MP5 & it'll use a orange variant for the shotgun, as for the video, I'm truely not sure, maybe in a few weeks or so, working on getting all the scripts & stuff set up for the maps :)

I love brush ladders. Diggin' that red lighting. I'm quite curious as to what might be beyond that little checkpoint.

This mod has constantly shown me some of the most awesome lighting I have ever seen done in GoldSrc. No kidding.
Half-Life level design was awesome, but it was a bit dulled down by a lot of sameness of the lighting choices. Always the same whites and browns.
Vibrant colors like this are what I love! Keep going!
Really like the orange fire going on near the bottom! I dunno why but I am a fan of blue and orange lighting.

not fully fledged allies that'll follow you around, but i plan to have medical bays with unarmed medics treating wounded soldiers that won't attack you, killing them is optional :3
