Developers stoped working on RW. What is Race War? What are weak points of the concept? What are strong points of the concept? ->new heroes with new skills, which can be trained up to lvl 25, which enables the one-hero-game, that wasn't capable in Blizzard's ladder system anymore Who is the target group of Race War? Can i help RACE WAR to get better? How can I find the mapmaker in Blizzard's Battle.net?

Race War is a race modification which tries to regroup the old 4 races as well as many "creeps" with their real destination into 12 new suitable races. This map can be described as altered melee.
The "main weakness" of the game is the partly multiple use of some basic skills (like dispel, magic immunity, reveal), but you know it's important to give these skills to all of the 12 races and it's quite impossible to create complete new spells for 12(races)*13(units). Another little critics point could be the building models, but that's already it.
The main strength of the game is obviously the huge choice of races and their very different unit combinations.
The following text describes the various Changes to the ordinary melee.
->shops now offer standardized items to keep balancing, though, there are 2 specific items for each race. Therefore you can buy one specific item on tier 1, the other for horrent amounts of money on tier 3. Some could say these tier 3 items are too strong, but they`re gonna dropped when the hero dies. A risk, which can be taken or not, it's up to you!
->Heroes can train different skills with different conveniences, that means some ultimatives can be trained at lvl 4, but have 3 levels, other normal skills have 1, 2, or 4 levels and need different level requirements
->every race hat got its own speficities, which influence the whole race-be it at buildings, at units or at upgrades
->the map can also be used to play (simple) RPGs
->many weaknesses of Blizzard's melee system of the game-i refer to e.g. destroyers, et-have been fixed
->every race has got 3 heroes to choose and there are additional 4 neutral heroes
Basicly there are two target groups:
->melee players (ladder gamers), who have played the old races countless times and want to experience some new quality races
->role players , who want to create a story to the existing concept in form of a game
->yes, cou can indeed, you just need to comment your wishes, balancing hints and your critics or whatever in the Race War Forum. However, look that you comment very OBJECTIVE, because as soon as you lose a game against some strong units or something like that, its a normal reaction that u think this f*** is imba! So i just need constructive posts!

The mapmaker plays on Northrend with the following nicks: BkA-Todeslich,Todeslich,C-Killer
Race War ist eine Rassenmodifikation, die versucht, sowohl die ursprünglichen Rassen, als auch viele interessante "Creeps" mit ihrer anfangs beabsichtigten Art in halbwegs stimmige 12 Rassen zu unterteilen. Gespielt wird diese Modifikation ähnlich dem Leiter (auch: Ladder)-System vom Battle.net .
Die Hauptstärken des Spiels sind wohlgemerkt die riesige Auswahl an Rassen und deren unterschiedlichen Einheitenkombinationen.
->Neue Helden mit abwechslungsreichen Fähigkeiten, die auch über Level 10 bis hin zu Level 25 trainiert werden können, ermöglichen auch die Ein-Held-Wahl wieder, was bei den originalen Ladder-Kämpfen meist unsinnig ist.
->Shops bieten nun einheitliche Gegenstände zum Verkauf, aber dennoch 2 klassenspezifischen Gegenstände pro Rasse. Dabei gibt es den günstigen ersten klassenspezifischen Gegenstand ab Entwicklungsstufe 1, den zweiten für horrente Summen ab Entwicklungsstufe 3. Einige werden sagen, die neuen Ultimativgegenstände wären zu stark, aber diese lässt der Held bei Tod fallen.

I didn't notice that, because I couldn't notice that because of a lack of testers.
It is right, there should be done more with Race War, but i simply can't detect any sense in improving it with 1 guy like u (I love u ;P) playin' it.
For me there is no motivation spending another 20 hours in making a map which is nearly balanced but seeing nobody who plays it, you know?
But to critizise u a bit: Isn't it a "good" alternative melee map compared with the competitors?
I think u could have mentiones one or the other point which let u play it about 40 times.

Horribly, horribly imbalanced. There is no racial setup that doesn't end in a massacre for one side. I've run through about 40 different games, and some of the factions just suck (centaurs, both Undead), some are way too strong (Daemons, Dwarfs, Nagas), some heroes are ungodly powerful, and some are terribly useless (any human heroes).
what heros are available to use in Race War?
