The Community Mod Project (CMP) aims to create one of the craziest mods for RA3 by taking the ideas of the community and implementing them into the game. Of course, we need a system that narrows the number of designs we accept. So, every few weeks, ferriswheel42 will host a game on a Red Alert server and the winner will be allowed to send in a concept that fits the theme below. The timer on the official website (Ferriswheel.infinityrealms.net) counts down the time until the next game, so until then, best of luck comrade!

BREAKING NEWS! Due to Computer Errors combined with nobody joining the goddamn game we're moving it to Saturday at 8 pm EST.
BATTLE 1
Objective: Defeat all enemies!
-5 players will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis. The 6th player will be Ferriswheel42, a mod member and referee, but also a player. The contestant who wins the match, as recognized by the game, earns the prize. If Ferriswheel42 wins... well, we'll have to think about that one, though he maintains that he is not an experienced player and "won't win, let's leave it at that."
(In future battles, there may be other objectives such as "capture this Observation Post" or "Destroy this bridge" but the first game may as well be simple.)
Map: Magmageddon!
-A fairly even 6 player map. There are land routes between each base, but the island is surrounded by water, and there are some naval shortcuts between starting points.

How to play: Ferriswheel42 will host a game at 8. The game name will be Community Mod Project, or something to that effect. Spots are first-come first-served, and the game will have no password or reserved spaces, so come early!
Prize: Super Ultimate T3 Unit!
-The winner of the game gets to submit an outline for a super-powerful, super-expensive, one-available-at-a-time, unit for a single faction that they choose. The unit will be built in T3 at the faction's War Factory or Naval Yard. The unit can be anything that is not humanoid/infantry, or anything super-detailed.
This unit will be coded into the Community Mod Project, and will be available for use in EVERY UPCOMING C.M.P. MATCH.

Dead? Not quite - we still have plans to come back to this.
Just a though, I think you should stick to Paradox. Why start this mod when you can't progress it yet? You should have waited at least.
Oh wow, I'm surprised at how many people have commented on here! I can say that as long as Paradox is still moving forward, the Community Mod Project will be "alive", especially considering the fact that future winners of this contest have a chance at winning a Paradox Beta key. This won't be a prize for quite a while, as Paradox is still in its alpha stage, but it's something to be looking forward to.
Right now I'm a little tied up with Paradox-related stuff, but the next update to this site will occur around the same time as the next Paradox update.

We've made attempts to start a game 3 times. Nobody was interested :\
So like I said, once we update the Paradox page (with an update so huge, all those "yo Momma" jokes will become "yo Paradox Update" jokes. "Our Paradox Update's so big that the solar system orbits around it.") we'll announce when the next game is along with it.
