awesome i like that your actually working on this. you should add some stuff portal didnt have and make a total conversion. there was a tutorial about some kind of sucker orbs? i think it would be cool to have a puzzle where you had to think around these sucker orbs cause they would suck in and destroy your portals before they made it to their destinantions.
thanks, ceriux. Sucker orbs is cool mod, I just tried it :) It could be great to enhance gameplay, although it cannot suck in portals. The portal gun doesn't 'shoot' any entity - it just runs traceline.
i'm certainly going to make some portal-proof walls (maybe just transparent entity would do the work) - it can be good for puzzles. no code done yet, though...

ahh, ic. well that sucks (lol.) have you figured out anything towards getting the portals to react to certain surfaces ?
