Benjamin Pulido has brought us a new mod for Quake III Arena, it's Quake 1 Arena, this has almost all the classic Quake maps, including textures and sounds.
Granted, this is still the first release so there may be a ton of iudates to come, but so far it's alright. Jumped in thinking it's just a map pack, was surprised that it has more, weapon sounds, hud and gui changes. Pretty cool. :)
As already mentioned: It is done quite nice (especially considering it's the first beta release) and I am exited for future improvements :)
