Proving Grounds is a TDM modification for Natural Selection 2. It focuses on First Person combat, without the RTS elements of the full game. Currently in alpha development, the mod will eventually feature multiple modes and full customisation of characters and models. This will be updated as more media becomes available.
This is the latest build of Proving Grounds mod. Updated for NS2 build 200.

These will take a lot of work to integrate properly into the mod. At the same time, I am looking to move the code away from NS2, so constantly updating the game to keep it inline with the latest NS changes is pretty much a waste of time. In this version I am using almost all the code from NS2 build 199 release with a little bit of b200 code to run in the new build. Player movements and abilities are currently as they were in B199 (except fade), so BileBomb is still with gorge (although it only damages players).I will begin the job of reducing reliance on NS2 code now, so expect longer between builds, and for a while at least, less gameplay changes.This update contains all the game files, so should be less prone to future NS2 build breakages.
