Having been sent back to Black Mesa, Gordon Freeman finds himself at the receiving end of an active Sector B teleportation laboratory. In the course of exploring the underground base once again, he finds that he is not the only one. The game is a work-in-progress and will continue with the next chapter in a few months.

I've uploaded the first public release of Provenance. Download it in the Downloads section. Be sure to click that 'read more' link to see the awesome people who've helped me complete this -- they definitely deserve it.

Platform Atrium 2
Sector B Test Chamber Zombie

I've also uploaded the map sources for any developers who are interested in seeing how some things are done without having to use a decompiled mess. You can check that out here:

Have fun.

And check out my website for information on my first Left 4 Dead level, too! It's set in a mall!

Edit: I didn't really wanna mention it but this was made as a portfolio piece -- a quick run-through of various settings, a puzzle or two, a battle arena experience, and some cool ramp-up to an end. Don't take your black screens and lousy computer crashes too seriously. And yeah, the black screen at the end should have discontinued the game but game_end is broken. Whoops.

Looks interesting although not likely that something survived that nuclear explosion if not a bit more far away than ground zero. Mapping looks good as well, but you could really give us more details, like who are we going to play (I hope not Gordon), what is our goal, etc.

Oh, and a little note. The picture behind a title shows graffiti on the walls. Delete them. Don't try to tell me that HEV suited vandals had gone into that nuclear poisoned place and have time drawing graffiti on the walls. :)

Actually, as you'll learn later, the place is inhabited by survivors which were left behind. You may notice the end piece of an American flag which was hung, too. They may not like you snooping around their laboratory *** living quarters, though.
