This mod replaces “hitscan” based weapons with “projectile” based weapon. In other words you’ll get some basic bullet ballistics (e.g. bullet drop, bullet speed and ricochets). Weapon damages and recoils has been changed according to bullet calibre/mass/speed (mp5 is mp5 and r700 is r700 now ; ) ).
-Bullet drop.
-Bullet speed.
-New weapon damages and recoils.
-Zoom only for ACOGed/Scoped weapons.
-Damage decrease over distance.
-Simple armor simulation. Two types of armor: Kevlar and Kevlar+Armor plates. Kevlar armor effective against pistol rounds(pistols/smgs). Juggernaut armor effective against any ammunition (excluding .50BMG) but player's movement speed decreased. Don't forget both types of armor are vests so they protects only torso.
-Stun effect on bullet damage. Large caliber rounds produce stun effect on target.
-xpboost system(similar to powerrank)
Every weapon is unique. So you'll need to chose best weapon for your game style.
For example M4 is good at medium range combat( especially with ACOG :) ), but you can be killed easily by some guy with UZI in close range.

Your mod is absolutely perfect so far! I enjoy actually having to lead my targets. Perhaps you could work on a sound mod to replace those awful sound effects :P

Hello. All sound effects could be imrpoved by using reverberation and doppler effects on maps. I think I saw some sound related scripting references. If it is true it would be just a matter of good mapping/scripting. And about plain sound effects. Simple modification of existing sounds could be the easiest and most effective solution. Not battlefield 3 though :)). So from my point of view the best solution would be creating scripts for sound processing or creating a map with needed scripts. And possibly some custom sound effects.
P.S. I've found two mapper guys. :)

Would it be possible to add a varaint/optional version of the mod that integrates just the bullet modifiers and physics instead of the class changes. There is nothing wrong with them, but I'd and some others would like to have the option of just playing the game with the default values. Just a suggestion, thanks for taking the time to read. :D

I am trying to create some class/weapon loadout balance now. So it is not final solution now. I want to open all weapons for all classes but every class should be unique. For example: Assault will have overkill + juggernaut perk selected by default; sniper - stopping power + dead silence. So you can choose any weapon for your class but only class specific weapons will suite you best. Also I want to move from perk concept. You can choose different class and you'll have all of it's specific abilities. Why to use perks if you have classes?
And Pezbot integration. Maybe some coop mode. But later.

P.S. I would really appreciate if any one gives some review to my mod.

When you release the PeZBOT version, I will be happy to give a review and opinions. So far I think this mod is spectacular, and you should continue to work on it :).

On a related note, I'm thinking about creating a Rebalanced/Evolution mod. It will feature things like a revamped sound system/sound effects, utilize this mod, and have bot support from the beginning. Mostly for the reason that COD4 is probably the only good Call of Duty at this point, and a mod like that will appeal to the player base and hopefully bring it back.

Hello!!! So I have lite version of my mod. It contains only bullet/weapon physics without any additional models. I can upload it but I want to improve armor penetration simulation and battlefield-like recoils.

This mod has so much potential. What it is trying to replicate should be a staple in First Person Shooter games today.
