Project Valkyrie is a multiplayer first person shooter developed for the Source Engine. Players suit up in the Valkyrie suit, equipped with a powerful arm cannon integrated into the suit and the ability to morph into a sphere for faster mobility and different attack capabilities. Previously titled Three Month Mod, it was thus named for the amount of time it had taken us on the project. Three months from conception to release. Everything was done simultaneously, from pre-production concepts, to code, to mapping. Unfortunately, due to a delay with the public release of the Orange Box SDK (we couldn't release without it, even though we were already Orange Box!) our initial release had been delayed.
After four months of work, Project Valkyrie is ready to head out the door!

Project Valkyrie Release
We'd like to thank everyone who has supported us and been so patient awaiting our release.
Currently the dedicated server is available for download. The server clocks in at 40 megs, requires the latest version of the TF2 dedicated server, and is *only* for Windows users.
We'd like to thank Fileplanet for graciously hosting the file for us, and I will be updating the post as we receive more mirrors.
But... The Client?
The client will be released today at 6:00 PM EST/ 3:00 PM PST as a 24 hour Fileplanet exclusive. Currently, Orange Box *is* required to play Project Valkyrie.
We're currently holding a release party in anticipation for the release where you can chat with the developers, ask us questions about the release, and be privy to some exclusive media prior to the launch of the file.
Join the group and enter the chat room to join in on the fun!
