Welcome to Project Reality: Battlefield 2 (aka PR:BF2), a modification for the retail Battlefield 2 multi-player PC game. Project Reality's aim is to create a more realistic combat environment than standard Battlefield 2, and place a greater emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. Most of the aspects of Battlefield 2 that have the capacity to be modified have been tweaked, or completely overhauled, to reflect their real life counterparts, for increased realism. Ballistics have for example also been audited to reflect those of real weapons, including characteristics such as damage, deviation and bullet drop depending on a weapon systems calibre. Since EA and DICE no longer support Battlefield 2 and is no longer being played online, the Project Reality team made PR:BF2 a standalone game. No longer is a installation of Battlefield 2 required and we have implemented our own online account system for online play.

don't think so,looks the passenger needs to either control the Missiles,or that Device on top, though I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure that the rockets are controled by the pilot like all the helis in pr and that thing is a radar I think, dunno what could it be used for, maybe lasing targets?

Perhaps.

Than the co-pilot will use the machine gun and, how knows, a laser targeting system.

the ball like structure perched above the rotor blades is the MMS (Mast Mounted Sight). It's a big electronics system like the "CLU" from the stryker apc or more like the sighting system on the nose of the apache. It has thermal imaging, laser range finder, and a normal television.

kiowa is used in real life to scout ahead and paint targets for attack helos like the cobra and apache so they can engage targets from behind terrain cover. i believe that that pod on top functions in much the same way the longbow system on the ah64d does, but im not certain

As of .957, the passenger only controls the mast mounted thermal imaging and laser target designation systems.
The pilot has control of the aircraft, the Hydra pods and the M3P(?) machine gun.

The pilot uses both the rockets and machine gun. The co-pilot will spot targets but he can't shoot anything. But dang finally someone made this bird to bf2 din't think it would be the PR guys but then again it don't surprise me :P Looks sweet btw!!

Actually, it's from the USI mod. They had it first and PR just grabbed it as well.
