Welcome to Project Reality: Battlefield 2 (aka PR:BF2), a modification for the retail Battlefield 2 multi-player PC game. Project Reality's aim is to create a more realistic combat environment than standard Battlefield 2, and place a greater emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. Most of the aspects of Battlefield 2 that have the capacity to be modified have been tweaked, or completely overhauled, to reflect their real life counterparts, for increased realism. Ballistics have for example also been audited to reflect those of real weapons, including characteristics such as damage, deviation and bullet drop depending on a weapon systems calibre. Since EA and DICE no longer support Battlefield 2 and is no longer being played online, the Project Reality team made PR:BF2 a standalone game. No longer is a installation of Battlefield 2 required and we have implemented our own online account system for online play.

Looks like Pripyat
yea, it does remind me of pripya Ukraine.

CoD 4: MW
yeah
Jesus Christ.
Pripyat is a real place. It always has been a real place. Stop bringing up MW every time it's mentioned, because plenty of games went there before Call of Duty did and it gets really annoying after a while.

yea man cod 4 XD
It's in Chernobyle guys.
Pripyat is the abandoned city near the Chernobyl power station.
The creator of the map made no mention of Pripyat in his highlight and the minimap does not represent it either. There are only a few indications that it was inspired by Pripyat (ferris wheel, bumper cars etc.).
Get out of here S.T.A.L.K.E.R.!

No wonder it looks like Pripyat. It is most likely a rather direct copy of the place.
Nice, just imagining: When you get out of the combat zone (I think that this map may be the only one in MP which has this feature), you start gainging radiation. :P
Mate in real life this place isnt livable in more then 50-100 years or so. if you are in the city too long you will die.. the radiation is in the city. not outside it.
Silly willies it is Pripyat. To further the image of the distinct ferris wheel, notice the bumper cars adjacent to the wheel in the right lower corner of the image. Just like in COD4, just like in real life. But of course this is a WIP so some detail is still missing (the broken inner circle/ring of the wheel, the missing canopy/cage for the bumper cars, etc.) How I'd love to tour there before I die..
Just because it has a ferris wheel based on the one in Pripyat does not mean the map is actually set there. The layout of the city and the whole area is different.
It was inspired by it. It's not literally Pripyat, though.
haha i agree. reminds me of the beginning of cod4's trailer.. the camera zooms down on the ferris wheel. LOOKS GREAT. so glad bf2 is still alive
It's obviously inspired by Pripyat but when you look at the minimap you can tell it's a different area.

I won't be surprised if there's an easter egg on this map referencing STALKER.
WOOOOOAAAH! Downloading now :D
Call Of Duty 4 , Ukraine ?
Chechen militia in Ukraine?
Chechen militia has since been renamed to simply militia as originally intended.
It kinda reminds me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., except this one is much peacefuller then STALKER...
it has nothing to do with cod4:mw , its a real fukn place, uuuuuugh!!!! >:m
"Big bird we are heavyily outnumbered where are yoU!?"
ooo im going to have to blow that up.
Honestly, I'm pretty sure even the skeptics can see that it was in some way based off of Pripyat.
