Welcome to Project Reality: Battlefield 2 (aka PR:BF2), a modification for the retail Battlefield 2 multi-player PC game. Project Reality's aim is to create a more realistic combat environment than standard Battlefield 2, and place a greater emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. Most of the aspects of Battlefield 2 that have the capacity to be modified have been tweaked, or completely overhauled, to reflect their real life counterparts, for increased realism. Ballistics have for example also been audited to reflect those of real weapons, including characteristics such as damage, deviation and bullet drop depending on a weapon systems calibre. Since EA and DICE no longer support Battlefield 2 and is no longer being played online, the Project Reality team made PR:BF2 a standalone game. No longer is a installation of Battlefield 2 required and we have implemented our own online account system for online play.

@stalkercze We may have surrendered, but we fought to the point we couldn't hold Germany troops. The Czech Republic didn't try to defend itself.
Those jokes about french and white flag are not funny anymore, and were not funny at the beginning. This is a part of our history. I can easily talk about every dark part of every Country's history. (Black segregation, USA. American civil war lost, UK. Franco, Spain. Mussolini, Italia ... I can go on.)
I think the biggest problem people had was vichy france. Keep in mind that if Germany hadn't caused the holocaust, Russia or France surely would have.

Bit sad that the people on the FAF team have worked around the clock for a *very* long time to bring us what looks like an amazing addition to the mod (that AMX 10RC is incredible), and most of the comments here are a repetition of these ridiculous French jokes that seem to pop up every time a Frenchman in uniform is mentioned.
Free French troops, Resistance fighters, the 13e DBLE at Bir Hakeim. Jokes are fine and all, but you hardly ever hear of the many Frenchmen who fought and died during the war without a single mention of surrender or white flags.
