Welcome to Project Reality: Battlefield 2 (aka PR:BF2), a modification for the retail Battlefield 2 multi-player PC game. Project Reality's aim is to create a more realistic combat environment than standard Battlefield 2, and place a greater emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. Most of the aspects of Battlefield 2 that have the capacity to be modified have been tweaked, or completely overhauled, to reflect their real life counterparts, for increased realism. Ballistics have for example also been audited to reflect those of real weapons, including characteristics such as damage, deviation and bullet drop depending on a weapon systems calibre. Since EA and DICE no longer support Battlefield 2 and is no longer being played online, the Project Reality team made PR:BF2 a standalone game. No longer is a installation of Battlefield 2 required and we have implemented our own online account system for online play.

umm, you cant really compare a mod to a game, since a mod is a add on for a game, and a game is just the game itself.... and btw, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare owns Battlefield 2, and actually has singleplayer... and no battlefield 2's ****** bots does not count as singleplayer, when in call of duty 4, you actually got a story, missions, and you can also get a mod for bots, so you got more than this game... now dont get me wrong battlefield 2 is a great game, but compared to call of duty 4, it loses... and you cant even compare battlefield 2 with modern warfare 2, cause modern warfare 2 is way too good for it.... but mw2 isnt that great, well on the PC atleast... and call me a fanboy all you like, cause you probably are a fanboy for some other game too, like maybe battlefield???

Dude, BF2 is five years old. You should be looking at bad company 2, which beats MW2 xD Bad company 2 actually takes a little bit of teamwork, no one player is going to win the entire game, and spawning is unique as well as extremely useful. Weapon options are awesome and all serve different purposes. Modern Warfare 2 is Modern Warfare with more guns and ****. Bad Company 2 did something all its own, and I find that it is a better game, if less well advertised.
All call of duties belong in the garbage.
