C&C: Generals mod | Released Mar 4, 2006
Adds completely new units, super weapons, upgrades, structures, and such. Compete against the enemy with new long range weapons, navy, tomahawk storms, and more. Adds a new side to the battles, the Militia a fast, and poorly armed faction. Plus it adds blood when infantry are hit and blood pools when infantry die. Also adds new music, weapon sounds and voices. Allows you to battle new AI with imporved attack groups, building most of the new units, and they use infantry more. So it isn't a vehicle based game anymore.

For those of you who have actually kept up with us, and have heard rumors of working weather systems in Project Raptor, you heard right, weather will affect each side differently.
Weather will be changed in the game, to now affect units for a specific side.
Falling Snow affects the speed, accuracy, and sight of the GLA, China, and Militia.
Blowing Sand affects the speed, accuracy, and sight of the USA, China, and Militia.
Fog (yes a new weather system added to PR) affects the speed, accuracy, and sight of the USA, GLA, and Militia.
Urban Areas affects the sight of the USA, China, and GLA, but increases the accuracy of the Militia.
The Laser General isn't affected by accuracy since he's the about well you get the point.
There will also be new heros. Last but not least there will be campagins for all the generals and sides, as a side effect there wont be a Generals Challange.

Apply for beta testing, but we have to fix our ftp, it's screwy.
How can i download this mod. and does it need the newest patch from EA??? my computer wont take the patch so i cant play mods that required patch from EA. if ur wondering what comp it is, its a DELL 5150, with pentium 4m processor, and 40 gig.

Well it is for both Generals and Zero Hour, so far the Generals one is the largest and is quite large in file size and doesn't have an AI that uses the new unit's and upgrades, but uses some of the new super weapons. The Zero Hour one will have AI, but dosen't yet, but is well worth the download, which ever you go with.

I have some ideas you might care to use for PR 8.0 or 9.0 <-thinkin ahead
1.
-A new superweapon specifically to replace the Air Force Generals particle beam-
A precision Tactical Nuclear warhead that must be lauched from a single airstrip by an SR-71 Blackbird
Since the bomber can be destroyed and replaced, it should also be allowed to attack normally with 6-8 of the stealth missles but the plane itself(without the nuke) should have the speed of an aurora bomber.
But when Equiped with the Nuke the bomber has the aurora's return effect,(after payload is released)
2.GLA Stinger site, Add another RPG soldier upgrade. max of five soldiers. cost 1000 each or cost of rpg soldier lik i said these are ideas feel free to mix and match xD. I figure this will allow more defense agaist large swarms of tanks as well as air support. Saves space too. xD
3. This is a unique but not thought out idea. make of it what you will.
the superweapon general. give her a unique tank that itself is a slow moving superweapon, obviously a hero. I think it should have the particle effect but a smaller one and continuous for with a 20 second dely between streams. (side note) Perhaps an ability to switch between only air/ground targets
could make for a great defense agianst bombers.
4. This next I'd really like to see.
China- China has mines.for ground defense. I have a slight idea. A soldier that can place mines anywhere. I know sounds crazy. Think about it. Swarm the china base with ground. Uh-oh. BOOM. xD
i think it should cost quite a bit tho. maybe a grand a pop.
I have more ideas about 20 or so. If you'd like more of them, please let me know.
Really wanting that precision nuke sr-71...
