I plan to have a playable public beta available before summer, but I'm not sure if that will be possible. Updates won't be possible too often because I have school, but once summer shows up, I'll have more free time to dedicate to the mod.
The mod will be using a health and damage scale completely separate from StarCraft's scale for a bit more realism. Heroes are closer in health and damage to their non-hero counterparts as well, which means you have to be more cautious with them when you play in the campaign, especially infantry. Here's an example of the new health scale for the alliance units:
Infantry: 15-75
Mechanical Units: 125-250
Small Ships: 125-175
Medium Ships: 250-350
Large Ships: 750+
If all goes well, every graphic in StarCraft will be replaced in this mod, even the terrain, but that's if all goes well which it usually doesn't.
We also need as much help as possible, but we aren't looking for anything too specific as of now, just send a PM to me with what you can do for the mod.
