Project Hellmouth is a partial conversion of DooM2, running on the DoomLegacy engine, which is a modernised port of the game that brings it up to quake2 quality with true 3d, opengl, dynamic lighting, hi resolutions and unlimited editing possiblities. Hellmouth is set on a huge mining station on a remote volcano, and the game style aims for realism ; as far as DooM goes. With an array of powerful weapons, blast and think your way through power plants, factories and refineries, worksite structures and processing complexes. You are required to think and to act, and earn your equipment doing so. Hybrid firepower is not gonna be handed to you. It's an atmospheric and story driven mod with puzzles and much battling action. Many innovative visual, gameplay audio features are being used, with scripting, special effects and cutscenes to provide a great gaming experience that is different from the original game.
