We have decided to pocket Price Of Victory. By pocket I mean put away for a later date and instead work on a few smaller mods just to build up our company resume. For everyone who was interested in PoV I recommend that you just watch the Treadsoft company and in time you'll be able to play PoV and other quality games. We plan to release a few multiplayer mods instead on source while we transition the team to the Unreal 3 engine so we can make commercial games there. Source is a good engine, but for our intents and purposes we fancy the UDK more.

In regards to our commerical works, assuming all goes well, there will be paid work and a position when we form the company. The UDK mods will be free, but the commercial games will be... commercial.

We scan for both skill and personality and enforce the policy strictly. By strict I mean we tolerate no bullying at all of any team member by another. However if you have a relationship with another team member that is play fighting or mock anger and the like, that is fine. Treadsoft is a safe and nurturing environment for all types of UDK modders, from the very skilled to those who are on their way to become the very skilled.

We aim to exploit certain niches in the market, old games for old school gamers. Making use of the Unreal 3 engine to bring the past into the present

It sounded so great when it was for source... But then it's moved to Unreal, then might be a commercial game.

Well, bigger battle fields, in my opinion better visuals and a solid unreal team. Chances look very good, but again, keep your eye out for extra mods.

Well, it's not dead, it's just, we would be spending so much time on this. Source wouldn't be ideal at the same time. So I can promise plenty of mods, some for source, some for unreal. We're not dead, just on hold.

hmmm WWI is definitely unexplored territory for gaming, ought to be interesting to see how this will come out, the ideas are good, kicking med packs and health regen out the window is a nice sign, although it would be a good idea to have a temp fix for serious wounds besides stopping the bleeding, maybe l4d type "pills" (dunno if morphine was invented yet) for a temp boost in "health" (100% before wound - 50% after wound, morphine/whatever applied, 75% after application, but 2% loss every 2 sec until back to 50%). just make sure to keep as far away as possible from the health regen please. also I think you might want to only issue 1 nade to each unit, or even make a specific "assault" class that gives up some ammo for a nade , if you get insta kills or the ability to disable enemies with nades, they would be much more useful than your gun, witch also brings in nade spamming, a team doing this to an enemy position until they're completely forced to leave without a fight is just annoying, if an organized group of 3 people have 2 nades each, then 6 nades can be used... and with the trench/house/encampment warfare being used, then more than likely the nades will be a powerful assault tool. Also the comment about "run and gun WWI"... is that even possible with a bolt action? :/ any ways... you got my watch :D

We do have a plan to assist wounds. however, atn this moment in time the lid is tightly on. In regards to grenades, there are options to increase your grenade capacity. I have read many WWI first hand accounts of raiding parties consisting of 2 riflemen and 3 bombers, the bombers having a sack full of grenades. In regards to Run and Gun, well yes, bolt actions can be used to some extent to run and gun. That aspect will remain however, run and gun shall be unadvisable due to the miniscule ammount of health.
