I'm hoping that you wont be as strong as Gordon Freeman, with his HIV suit and all.
Also... why is there someone with a east-European accent in the trailer of every video game these days?
Because it was most likely developed by east-Europeans, or because it just sounds cool.
The core team is all-Swedish actually.
The voice actors are too.
The mod takes place before Freeman and we thought that the percentage of Eastern Europeans in City 17 would be higher. Also, we chose to go with eastern-european accents since we suspected that a Swedish accent would taint the voice acting if we tried to go for American English (since our voice actors are Swedish).
I think it's because HL2 and the episodes(1-2 at least) are set in eastern europe. I think i heard somewhere it's in Bulgaria, but i'm not sure. Also, HIV suit LOL. (It's supposed to be HEV, and HIV as we all know...)

Pretty great mod. Just finished to play it.
Like: The MiniStrider Mechanics.
Dislike: Some areas are too dark that was make me disorient.
Outstanding work! Only problem is its kinda hard to move arround without a flashlight, other than that, excellent work!

This mod was flawless, until I got to the part where you have to wait for a door to open while fighting off zombies. every time I try to go through the door, the game crashes. Anyone else get this problem/ know how to fix it?
Hmm... this is a rare bug we've stumbled upon on only a few occasions. Over on PlanetPhillip one person suggested that removing the bin folder fixed the problem... but that also removes all of the Precursor code. It will still work but some changes will be missing but you should give it a try though. I'm at a loss as to why this happens since there isn't really any change I've made in the code to warrant it.
I got past it and the rest of the mod without a hitch. it seems it only happens when you go through the door (Duck under it) when it has not completed raising fully. I waited for the full time and it worked fine. sorry for the false alarm!
You should definitely be able to crouch under it! Thanks for pointing this out. We'll be sure to fix this in the first update.

Did you make the music, or is it from the game?
It's a pretty above-standard mod. use of minor physic puzzles was a nice touch compared to other mods where its drop-heavy-object-in-basket.
I was sad that there was not any new textures, save for a decal which I'd never seen before. The mod would be quite a bit better with some better and more unique textures, especially in the parking garage area, since it'd really compliment that nice area.
Only problems were every time there was water you had little to no lighting so the water would look funny, and after jumping or ducking, if you tried to sprint it wouldn't work, which was annoying when you have low HP and grenades are flying in.
Nice use of stock content, and change to sprint function. 8/10
I just finished this, i gotta say it was brilliant. A little short but it made up for that and much more. Loved it.
how long is this mod?
have you guys played half life 1? the reason there is even the need for a resistance is because of gordon freeman, so how could there be a resistance in existence before he "came along"?
A guy I know once said "There is no such thing as a quality Half Life 2 map" That guy really should play this. Great work.

well ! Have finished this Adventure at Saturday evening last weekend.
I have had a lot of fun with this mod - very nice settings, impressive textures which always fits perfect and last but not least a proper Gameplay due to the nice amount of enemys and well placed Ammo Crates,Medkits,Armorsuits. - played on "Hard" so it was
often serious challenging !

I've just finished downloading and just played through the first fifteen minutes. I'm hooked, it looks and sounds great. There's a better atmosphere in this game then in Half Life 2 itself.
A must play, this is probably the best mod I've seen so far.
Now excuse me... I'm off to kill some combine.
A high quality mod, with great level design, good voice acting and some neat changes to things like character skins.
If I have one complaint, it's that it felt a bit too much like Half-Life 2. Perhaps less health in total, no/less shields and less weapons and ammo would stop you from feeling like a one man army.
Seriously, who needs Freeman when you've got this guy pwning this much without even the HEV suit.
Amazing mod, loved the final hunter battle. Also liked you didn't give the player a flashlight, means you can play with light for better effect, especially in the zombie levels.

Played through earlier today, its a good little mod, though I kept dying at the bit where you encounter the mini strider (i forget what there called) by the house. Took awhile to figure out what to do there, but yeah I like it
