basically, we're in the beta stage of the Aperture Laboritories Ultra-connecting Ultra-powered supercore. the heart of the facility. but what is it? we're keeping that a secret for now. as events go by, we are releasing more alphas and beta's to our group than ever before. we're making massive progress, including this. needless to say, you'll be using this part of the facility heavily. we're going to post beta shots VERY soon :D watch this space. watch it well :3

nope. we're still working! it just so happens I cannot work on it at the moment due to real-life stuff. but, the engine is under-way!

also, I tried to hum to that tune. you do know the first part is 3 deads, not 4? it ruins the song flow. the end is especially guilty of this.

yep! the mod will be making use of Portal 2's files. however, due to limitations, we cannot make use of Portal 2's 2 engines. making a new engine is a lot of work, so there'll be a little more white noise coming from our direction.

nope. not dead. just awaiting Portal 2 mod restrictions. we hope they'll not be L4D, but more like Portal. Sourcemod-style, not campaigns.

Okay, I don't care about mod restrictions, I make the maps anyway. And I really really wish this mod would die, it's a joke, and I honestly don't understand why anyone is following it. Yes, one of my mods is a joke also, but guess what? I'll actually admit it.

we want to add more content and different gameplay. NPC's are impossible to add as of now.

as for the mod dying, it won't. anyone reading wanting it to die, stop hoping. it won't happen.

and frankly, after a year of learning more about enviroment design, you should be /happy/ I'm restarting this mod.

you'll see eventually. it's just such a shame my past poor mapping and PR skills have left sour tastes for many people. but this mod is not a joke.

Oh, and to prove my point of claims you never follow up on, here's a quote directly from you. "good news! a trailer is being made as we speak." And guess what? That was posted on April 27 2010, so, this trailer must be pretty damn good being over a year in production and all.

I more or less gave up on that after learning it would be too laggy to do. with my new laptop, it will be easier.

Still, the trailer is postponed, yes. especially as we had to wait for portal 2, and now, wait for the engine to be built.

I still stand by my argument, until you upload one good picture, and I have yet to see you do so, I will continue to think your mod is a joke. look at this, http://forums.thinkingwithportals.com/downloads.php?view=detail&df_id=568, I made that in 4 hours, yes it's short and easy, but it's screenshot worthy, so I uploaded it. I completed better looking content in 4 hours, than you have in 2 years.

but I have uploaded some good content. the only downloadable file here was made by me, and the screenshots I have on my steam of the new testing elements are, to a point, further demonstration of me getting back to learning mapping. I have already proved that I can make maps, and am aware of how to structure hallways, bts areas and even large rooms.

This alone shows I can make testing elements, and make geometry with relatively good lighting and testing elements. also in that map is a scripted sequence, fades, custom textures etc.

this is all minor, yes. but it all builds up to a big, obvious fact that I can map, I can make details, and I can use testing elements, even if they are haphazardly added in. but even then, all I need is to structure it more to get a better test chamber.

and yes, my map is short and easy. but it's screenshot worthy, so I uploaded it.
