I don't see why you can't use the Portal 2 mod - what are you adding in the game programming that's new? Why not just make a content-only mod?
we want new NPCs and new portal applications. stuff we need to edit the code for.

nope. we're still working! it just so happens I cannot work on it at the moment due to real-life stuff. but, the engine is under-way!
also, I tried to hum to that tune. you do know the first part is 3 deads, not 4? it ruins the song flow. the end is especially guilty of this.

yep! the mod will be making use of Portal 2's files. however, due to limitations, we cannot make use of Portal 2's 2 engines. making a new engine is a lot of work, so there'll be a little more white noise coming from our direction.
I still stand by my argument, until you upload one good picture, and I have yet to see you do so, I will continue to think your mod is a joke. look at this, http://forums.thinkingwithportals.com/downloads.php?view=detail&df_id=568, I made that in 4 hours, yes it's short and easy, but it's screenshot worthy, so I uploaded it. I completed better looking content in 4 hours, than you have in 2 years.
but I have uploaded some good content. the only downloadable file here was made by me, and the screenshots I have on my steam of the new testing elements are, to a point, further demonstration of me getting back to learning mapping. I have already proved that I can make maps, and am aware of how to structure hallways, bts areas and even large rooms.
This alone shows I can make testing elements, and make geometry with relatively good lighting and testing elements. also in that map is a scripted sequence, fades, custom textures etc.
this is all minor, yes. but it all builds up to a big, obvious fact that I can map, I can make details, and I can use testing elements, even if they are haphazardly added in. but even then, all I need is to structure it more to get a better test chamber.
and yes, my map is short and easy. but it's screenshot worthy, so I uploaded it.
