Just the other day I got a sparkly new computer so work is currently normal but for 2 weeks i had no computer to work on so I am 2 weeks behind, no big deal though, we'll still have the mod out in march.
On a higher note, were looking for voice actors for the characters in the mod.
Anyone who is interested PM me and send me some examples of your voice style and ill get back to you.
We're looking for:
- A cheerfull, vibrant, happy, medium-high pitch female voice
- A powerful, deep-ish male voice
We kind of want a faint american accent for both of them but we are interested in hearing other accented voices as well.
Hope to hear from some actors in the near future.

I might be able to help; I have access to recording facilities, but none of the qualities mentioned. I have a Minnesotan accent, although not a particularly deep voice.
Can you give us some examples of lines you would like to hear?
I can do the deep-ish male voice and I have a fairly decent microphone. If you post some samples of lines I could try acting them out.
Here's a couple of example lines:
"You wouldnt want to hurt her, would you? What's she ever done to you?"
The 'her' is the emphasis of the first sentence and theres no particular emphsis on the second sentence.
"Just die, you'll feel better if you do."
Emphasis in this sentence is the 'just die', sounding kind of tired, kind of like 'just die already'
This voice is also going to sneak through the female actors voice every now and then so theres quite a few lines which are for the female voice but are going to be voiced by the male as well
Here's a couple of examples of female lines:
"Oh, i see your awake. Welcome to aperture science."
emphasis on the 'Oh'
"Congratulations, what you've picked up there is an Aperture Science Handheld Portal device, or portal gun for short."
Emphasis on the 'congratulations', 'there', 'aperture' and 'short'.
There you go, one note with the female voice parts is we're going to get the voice acting for the female parts first and we can supply the male voice actor with the recordings for reference, but all the male only parts can be done whenever its ready.
