I can't tell if it was a retcon or not, due to the companion cube looking the same... So the original cube might also /still/ exist.

I would like your opinion on why please? Not many choose the old one for some reason. It's so awesome though.
I think you should use the new one because the old one just feels out of place with the newer art style.
True. I could do a bit of a retexture job to make it look nice again though.
Isn't the point of remaking Portal into Portal 2 to use Portal 2 aesthetics? If you're going to use all of the models and mechanics used in Portal, you might as well just play Portal.
Well technically I wanted to use both cubes because it makes sense if, as Theruperbob mentioned it was in the comics and is part of the storyline. Besides I did make new textures for it, the blue glow changes to yellow like the new cubes. Still need to re-size them a drop.
Is it just me or is the new cube smaller?
