Portal: Project-Beta
Portal mod | Coming Q4 2010
Project-Beta is a full content mod for Portal. This mod will include, new textures, new models, new particles, and a new story mode. There are 2 Possible endings to the mod. The rest of the information will be shown in progress screen shots and media releases.

It's been a hectic final month, first we recruited KernCore and then pushing for a new Demo/Minimod to be released on time. Well finally after much work I am pleased to bring you our second Demo or what you could call a mod in itself I guess, Project-Alpha.
The goal of Project-Alpha was to get another playable demo out to everyone, while still having some original Portal gameplay. We came to the conclusion that our second Demo should be a minimod in itself and be designed around the trailer version of Portal. Rather than continue to explain what exactly is in Project-Alpha, I will show you a quick video made by one of our testers.

Here is our spike pit, and yes we know people wanted the fire high but that would result in some issues.
Here is a redone chamber from the original Portal, but designed to resemble and play like the trailer.

Aw crum. Oh well.
My main problem is that the computer I am using is SO old, that it apparently doesn't even have a slot for the new graphics cards. I have been saving up for a newer computer, but it has been a while (considering several factors in my life).
The mod still looks interesting, and I will still track it, but that's a bit of a let-down.
If your PC has an AGP slot you could get a DX9 AGP card.
