Portal: Desolation mod

Well, this isn't crucial to the story and suspense, so I'll post screenshots of Chamber 01.

I've done the base of chambers 1-10, however 3-10 are still using the "development" textures and the lighting is bad. Chamber 2 isn't quite perfected yet (although the same could be said for 1 - although it is 99%).

The fact is, this mod is not supposed to be copying Portal 2. This is supposed to be happening in between Portal 1 and 2. I really like the textures from Portal 2 so I'm going to mostly use those, some from Portal 1 and some custom textures.

I've come up with some unique ideas for the mod, and you'll hear more about those soon enough...

Anyway, here's some screenshots of chamber 01. The base of this took about fifteen minutes, then about an hour making improvements.

These should give you an idea of how the levels are going to feel. I'm going to state it here and now that you will not persistently have the portal gun upgrade. Sometimes it will only be able to fire blue, sometimes only orange (don't ask why, I just like it like that), and sometimes both, but after you get it you will constantly have it, but it does go around.

For example, in chamber five it has two rooms. In one room you can only place orange portals and in the other you can only place blue. Quite easy to do in hammer really, but I think it's quite nice :P Not going to go into why, but trust me it works well.
