First things first, why this mod is coming to ModDB.
One, I saw a lot of troll mods ("Portal 2", "portal 2 fangame", Portal-Life, Orange Portals, TMoD 1 just to name a few) which were WAY worse than Portal 2: The Fake Community-Made (which is bad already on its own) which somehow did manage to appear at ModDB, so I thought I should try.
Now on to the actual details, and I shall start with a quote:
"Not only this mod is bad enough as a mod, it is TRAGEDIC as a Sburb 1.0 land." - 2012 Business Magnet
And then a longer quote:
"Half-working beta version of a future mappack mod.
Portal 2: The Fake Community-Made is a random project I and hanging_rope agreed on making when deciding on how to liven up TWP (which in turn died for two weeks).
Like I said, this is a mod, so the folder has to go in (Steam directory)/steamapps/SourceMods/.
This download only consists of maps by me in a chapter "Get it Twice" (really a mappack that I decided to blend into this mod).
As of now, any suggestions are welcome.

I then went on to add the Blue Portals textures to make the mod "look like" Portal 2 and some other maps I started working on but never really finished, and even a "Portal 2" Chell skin.
And yes. I got this project started even BEFORE Valve officially announced Portal 2, and I believe this mod actually MADE Valve announce Portal 2 in the first place.

Portal-Life is what anyone can make with "npc_create npc_gman" on the console.

I can't imagine a mod more controversial than this.
It is a thing that did not need existing, and yet troll mods get ratings higher than this and mods with fairly good concepts get ratings lower than this.
I don't see a reason why did you made this mod.
It was a wicked idea of "if Valve doesn't give us Portal 2, we can make it ourselves."
And then Valve gave us Portal 2.
You think you're cool because you talked to a member of the Blue Portals Development Crew once, I had an entire edit war / fan fiction battle with one.
