Forcefield brought to Portal 2 from Portal 1.
Also thanks to Omnicoder for giving help while creating this.
Looks nice, only problem is that it only differs from metal grates in the way it looks, it is functionally the same....
Don't get me wrong, I like it... it would be easier to turn those off than to move a metal grate, and they look nicer.
but really it just a big hardlight bridge, that doesn't go through portals
Good work keep it up :)
It looks nice, a lot nicer than the Hard Light Bridge acting as one, which I am having to do in a map I'm working on and trust me it doesn't blend properly with the rest of the level. Also it's too quiet you should give it a small humming sound or something.
Quite nice!
You know, if you wanted to make these things really different to hard-light bridges or metal grates (as I agree with the other posters), you could always make the forcefield allow the player to pass through, but not physical objects like boxes (get blocked)- and better yet, rather than turning it off, it actually reversed its function- allowing objects to pass through, but not the player... So toggling the switch is never a matter of simply turning it off, but getting it into the mode you need....
Would like to see that, good idea!
