In late 2005, a Russian mineral exploration company discovered a series of large oilfields in southern Sudan. Sudan’s Military government, with its ability to hold the newly revitalised Sudanese People’s Liberation Army at bay beginning to falter, decided this new source of oil was its one sure-fire way to hold onto power.

Point of Existence .4.4 released!

When .4 was released we still had several maps as well as two pieces of equipment still under development.

The maps include official PoE maps as well as =RAV=KrazyIvan's map "Namib" the fan map contests second place winner.

In addition to these maps we now have the Sudan AK47, as well as the Mig 31 fully finished and working in game.

These new pieces of equipment have not only been implemented in some of our new maps but also have been added to currently existing maps as well.

In addition to this new content we have done a lot of bug fixing as well as balancing from community suggestions in the forums as well as observing public play. The tweaks are all in our change logs but the most noticeable was how the iron sights have been tweaked to provide a slight zoom and fixed some of the accuracy issues.
