After a long, bloody war in the Sudan, the governments of the United States and Russia struck an uneasy cease-fire over the fate of Africa and its burgeoning industry. This peace would be short lived, for to the north a new conflict was brewing. Ukraine, a former satellite state of the Soviet Union, sought to gain back the power from which it once reveled in. As the snow fell in a heavy midwinter storm, Ukrainian troops moved towards the border of Belarus. Without warning, Ukrainian troops attacked with a speed and effectiveness not seen since the Blitzkrieg of WWII.

This week Greasy_Mullet has screenshots from the map he is working on called Raid on Kerch. It contains some new statics from Jilted. The Tall building near the water has a tunnel that enters the basement of the building and contains a flag on the interior of it. The map focuses on the American team assaulting via Blackhawks, unarmed Littlebirds, or via the rib boats. Parachutes have been disabled on this level so make sure your Helicopter pilot lands before jumping out!

ColdFussion, Dorayacoop, and Dnamro have been doing a lot of work with the current PoE:2 maps to add the Single Player & CoOp game modes for PoE:2. Hopefully we’ll have a good amount of our maps working with CoOp by the next patch that we release to the public – just depends on how things test out. We’ve received assistance from fans in the BFSP community pointing out things that were causing issues within CoOp/Single player game modes which should be resolved in the next release. One of the things that Dnamro has been busy working on lately has been “converting” maps that will work in PoE:2 by simply placing the maps into the PoE:2 levels folder. Click on the graphical link above to check out the Battlefield Single Player forums to get more information.
