Earth, 2060. A small group of colonists leaves the ravages of Earth for a distant planet orbiting Alpha Centauri's primary star. Their ship, the United Nations Starship Unity, carries them on their journey to a new world and a new hope for humankind. Along the way a reactor malfunction damages the Unity, precipitating a crisis among the ship's seven most powerful leaders. As they enter the Alpha Centauri system, the crew splits into seven distinct factions, divided not by nationality, but by ideology, and their vision for the new world. After the ship breaks apart, the seven leaders guide their chosen crew down to the surface of Planet, seeking their destiny beneath an alien sky.

This is the patch that appeared just before Planetfall's latest patch. I figure it's a good idea to keep this one online as well, so you have something...

Why doesn't Desura install version 16 and 16f?
Erm, I don't want to sound like an idiot but the files are kind of in a confusing order. Do I install the main file and then install the previous patch and then the latest patch or do we not need the patches at all since the main file is the latest file?
just out of curiosity does this include anything the expansion for SMAC Alien Crossfire???
You may just have inspired me to get Civ4.
Shouldn't the Barbarians be Mindworms instead?? Then again, is PSI combat possible in CivIV??
This is probably one of the best mods for Civ4. I've had quite a few games in LAN with my sister and it was always a blast. (Sadly there's a desync bug somewhere in there, and often we just start over when we hit it a few times in a row.)
Your FAQ mentions where to place downloaded SMAC video files but not where to obtain said files. Where can I get them?

ok, the patch in question is 3.19 for BTS and my OS is win vista.
Re the patch, figuring out problems with unmodded Civ4 is not my field of expertise. I would suggest requesting help in the Civ4 - technical support forum of Civfanatics (CFC).
Re Windows Vista, in that case, as said, check out the tutorial on how to change your UAC settings.
