Pirates, Vikings and Knights II is a unique, total conversion of the Half-Life 2 Source engine.
3 teams fight each other for kills, objectives and total domination!
Unique Combat System:
The combat system is something you will not find in other mods. Melee is based off of directional charged attacks and
blocks, far from the usual click and slash method found in most games.
Each class has their own set of unique weapons (When I say unique, picture a trained attack parrot) and play styles,
as well as class specific special attacks that can be unleashed once the meter is filled.
Multiple Game Modes:
Each map features a game mode that you'll find both unique and entertaining. Game modes include Booty, Holy Grail,
Last Team Standing, Territory, Objective Push and Team Deathmatch. Many more are planned for future releases.
Classes:
Each team sports its own set of unique classes. Each class offers its own play style and is most effective in different situations.
Altogether we have 18 unique classes planned, 6 for each team!

should be top on your list of mods to try!

Since our last news post on translating the mod into Dutch, Finnish and German, a few of our community members have been working on three new languages!
Today, we share with you some images of PVK in Español (Spanish), Français (French) and Svenska (Swedish). We have other community members working on Danish, Russian and Norwegian.

Can we please have Gestir gameplay?
Why is the Gestir saying Download Now? He is lieing to me.
2.3 will only have the Gestir

Yeah.
Several Devs said that there will only be the Gestir when 2.3 is released, otherwise it would take even longer to finish the update. Now they give updates when everything is ready they planned.But they can release faster when 2.3 is released with Steamworks, because no one needs to manually update their versions. So they can release separate things as soon as they are ready.
Nice I just were about to send a comment: Will this come soon to steamworks.

sereously cmon stop that this is already anoyng just cause u have a great mod doesnt mean you can play with news like this its the 4 or 5 update with nothing new on it
but check this out: pvkii.com. they say there will be 3 new units in 2.3.
And they plan to even make 6 units for each team in the following updates.
I mean isn't this great? I just can't wait^^
yea i know sounds really great but it sucks to allways see pvk2 in news and be like great new stuff and then i clik and nothig
They still need to finish 2 more classes. And it takes about a year for them to make 1 class, so I'm not even expecting it until 2010.
