Pirates, Vikings and Knights II is a unique, total conversion of the Half-Life 2 Source engine.
3 teams fight each other for kills, objectives and total domination!
Unique Combat System:
The combat system is something you will not find in other mods. Melee is based off of directional charged attacks and
blocks, far from the usual click and slash method found in most games.
Each class has their own set of unique weapons (When I say unique, picture a trained attack parrot) and play styles,
as well as class specific special attacks that can be unleashed once the meter is filled.
Multiple Game Modes:
Each map features a game mode that you'll find both unique and entertaining. Game modes include Booty, Holy Grail,
Last Team Standing, Territory, Objective Push and Team Deathmatch. Many more are planned for future releases.
Classes:
Each team sports its own set of unique classes. Each class offers its own play style and is most effective in different situations.
Altogether we have 18 unique classes planned, 6 for each team!

Since our last news post on translating the mod into Dutch, Finnish and German, a few of our community members have been working on three new languages!

What I would like to see is better rewarding for parry...
Have just started playing for real, awesome game but get owned, since i want to parry and fight, But the one that keep attacking will win since Parry is not so rewaing, But it take alot of the damage away...
You have no idea how wrong you are :P
Perfect Parrying is in the current version TOO rewarding, attacking is almost useless against people who can PP at a consistent rate. In 2.3 the balance between defending and attacking is going to be better, which means the counter attack will be less effective.
Hope to see it better, since im "damage" by AoC there u parry/attack.
But in PVKII often the one attacking wins if the other trying to parry with a smaller weapon or just as "big".
But it feels like to its alot of skills, since the fast pirate owned 3-4 of us lol in last team standing.
The health regan is that a thing the server choose if it's enable or is it enable allways?
They not only need to focus on a:
Attack <> Parry kind of motion
But what about ambushes or surprise attacks and counter moves?
Aligning attacks to the movement is one thing, but forcing players to use it too much leads to a big gap in skills...
So what I suggest is a quick use Punch or Kick move, that mainly is used to push or knockback a foe into whatever situation you want it to occur, and make it unblockable and unparryable, except these moves are kind of slow so it makes it easy to dodge.
A well put kick on the back of the opponent will send them flying further than you think and works as a way to knock them to their deaths.
Pirates - Kicking and Punching
Knights - Shield Charge and Kicking
Vikings - Tackling, Punching, and Kicking (different uses)
