Okay, so its been a long time since the project died, and im glad to announce that i'm going to have another go at this project. Any interested individuals, old team members should contact me if your interested in starting again!

The reason for the failure last time was a lack of a character artist, this meant that no matter how hard we worked, we'd never be able to release a beta, alpha or version 1 of the mod. So first things first, anyone who can model, texture and get characters into source, PLEASE CONTACT ME VIA PM!

I would also like to say that the name has been changed to Pirate Lore, i have none of the old assets, maps, or anything, after a format a few months back, so we're starting from nothing!

Well thats truely nice of you. How about you leave those sort of comments out. PVKII and PotE are two completely different mods. If you would rather play that then im not stopping you, but theres no need to leave a comment like that.

Well, it depends really, melee combat will be quite fast, however the block/parray system will slow this down slightly and not let it turn into a mash mouse-fest. As for guns, reload time will be realistic to the weapon. A Blunderbuss will slow down movement of the player and the reload time will be quite long (8-10 seconds), where as, pistols will be loaded quicker and make less of an effect on the players stats (movement, etc.)

Just wanted to say that I'm very excited to see a Pirate game.
I think the market lacks good pirate games. I think the last Pirate game I played that I thought was worthy of being called great, or even classic.. was The Secret of Monkey Island.

I guess it is up to the creative and diverse community of modders to change things.
