The goal of this mod is to add a third playable pirate race to Homeworld 2, as well as implement minor universal gameplay changes and add additional ships to the existing hiigaran and vaygr navies. This modis not meant to challenge or create existing HW2 canon, is merely for everyone's enjoyment.

The gameplay of the mod is already complete and playable, and features a functioning pirate AI, so you can play against a pirate CPU in multiplayer!

Beta build progress was slowed down due to a heavy workload this month.

but Bataraia's Hammer and the subsystems are in my personal build!
unfortunately a minor issue has come up

some of the new subsystems look weird on the station and Strength of Liberata.
now if no one minds i can work on packaging the build for release.

i can assume your answer but i would not be a good modder with out asking you all first :D

also i got a Big Surprise for you all soon!!!! so follow the mod (if you don't already)

well i played it now for a while...and i gotta say the pirates are totally overpowered, i won matches against two allied expert AI^^. the artillery frigates kill anything bigger than a corvette, and the battleship is able to take out two hiigaran battleships simultaneously...but instead of takin these out the game, couldnt you make some better battleships for the hiigaran and the vaygr? btw the advanced destroyers are great! would be even greater if AI would build them, cause it doesn't by now as well as the lance frigates^^. the artillery frigs wouldnt be so overpowered without the splash damage and the incredible range...o AI doesn't build weapon subsystems by now, but i think u know this...that's all i know yet...great work as far as i've seen^^

hey man, dont know if u have noticed it yet but in The Strength of Libertatia the badge its inverted, same in the pirate bombers, and the pirate interceptor doesnt show the badge.

Man first than nothing let me tell u, u have made an incredible mod here, its awasome and yet even being a beta is really great.
there are some pirate ships a little to overwhelming, like the artillery frigs (which can take down any enemy ship whit some few shoots and also do not make splash damage to their friendly units), the pirate multigun corvets (they are too good agains any fighter/ bomber almost 3 or 4 times more eficient than their hygaran or vaygyr counterparts) and finaly the pirates BC, their HP/DMG/$ its well balanced, yet the RU required to get the BC's TT its too low compared whit the TT to get their Higaran and Vaygr counterparts (and also, i think this was a mistake, but the hig and Vayg BCs are as expensive as the pirate BC), i know most of this issues will be fixed in coming versions, yet wanted to post them just to give some feed back to the game developers

i did notice one thing tho :P with probes when you builf them from Baratarias Hammer the prob's sensor range is bigger than the strength of Libertatia ??!! has anyone else noticed this ??
but apart from that i think this is ace and the voices are spot on too!
