So after many many hours I've finished finished the artwork for a small galleon to be used in the game. The Galleon is loosely based off the Golden Hind, a small galleon famous, for being captained by Sir Francis Drake.
A few of the materials could perhaps do with some tweaking but I'm fairly pleased with the results overall.
The ship only has 14 guns so its not really an offensive vessel, but its main advantage over smaller ships is it's ability to crew more men, as well as carry more supplies. It also has a stronger hull and larger sails.
I'm looking forward to getting it all set up with moveable parts - ready for sailing - and then after that for boarding!
