Pilotable Strider ModHalf-Life 2 mod | Released Mar 30, 2007NEW VERSION 0.3.5.1 !!! Check out !!!. Pilotable Strider Mod is a HL2:Deathmatch modification that allows you to play a deathmatch with a pilotable strider, a helicopter, or an APC. Also included a Sniper rifle!!. You can control the Strider like the HL2 Vehicles, but also you can use the machine gun, Anti-matter cannon and leg attack. You can control a helicopter too, using his machine gun and the bombs. And also a combine APC, with his machine gun and his Missiles. Update: Strider Mod still in development. Forums open May 2006. We will post soon new screenshots from the new Strider Mod SX. We're targeting the following features: - Single Player experience.

Is StriderMod SX dead ?
i installed this game its not working
i have a copy of HL2 it dont pull up in my steam games
i refershedsteam stil did not work

The project is called Exite.
The creators of this mod REALLY seem to have their $#!+ together.
Seems they've seen the trailers that display some of the untapped potential the source engine delivers (Portal spacificly) and have already produced a functional "portal-gun". Now they will not be releaseing this to the public anytime soon as valve plans to ship PORTAL with episode 2 (with TeamFortress 2).
There is a video of this available somewhere... I forget where or what they called the little mod.
You CAN Host AND play the game, it's called a LISTEN server as opposed to a DEDICATED server in witch you would NOT be able to play. The Dedicated servers run much faster as they are not required to dedicate resources to your gameplay.
Some mapper should make up a good battleground wasteland as large as they can manage, just toss acouple striders or so on either side. Add a light sprinkleing of scrapmetal from prior battles for infantry cover, and boil for 15min.
someone has to make a mod like this exept with striders have gaint mechs with guns? but this is a sweet mod anwuways i wish the maps were a litle biger

hi i downloaded this mod and its not showing up on the game list,nor are the other mods. i had no source mods folder in my steamapp folder. help?
