Welcome back folks!

Few little news:

ixjackinthebox joined our team as an english concept artist and modeller: he's ready to do anything for us, as long as he lives in one of our mods location.

SteveJamboSanna, an italian YouTube user and amateur band singer, has confirmed his presence for italian voice acting.

And our good old LordMalacath has stated he will come back developing and CK programming as soon as his computer will be repared.

An improved homepage, new concepts, videos and possibly modelling and level design progress coming soon.

Qualche notizia:

ixjackinthebox è entrato nella nostra squadra come artista concettuale e modellatore inglese: è pronto a fare qualsiasi cosa per noi, finchè vivrà in una delle nostre location della mod.

SteveJamboSanna, un utente YouTube italiano e cantante in una band amatoriale, ha confermato la sua presenza come doppiatore.

Ed il nostro caro vecchio LordMalacath ha dichiarato che tornerà a sviluppare e a programmare con il CK non appena il suo PC verrà riparato.

Una migliorata homepage, nuove bozze, videos e possibilmente progressi nella modellazione e nel level design in arrivo molto presto.

This depends on various factors. The Elder Scrolls are renowned across the world because of one very important feature. You can be who you want, other than the fact that you can do what you want without being conditioned by the game. This is in my mind a positive feature that we should try with all means to preserve. People like to create their own characters within the Universe that they play, that's why Bethesda Softworks made a breakthrough with Morrowind. People loved it because they could be whoever they wanted, from an Imperial to a Khajiit.

I myself was considering to make a different project, but more related to the typical lore of The Elder Scrolls, magic, spells, the 'nordic atmosphere' in Skyrim is something that you cannot use in a port of The Pillars of the Earth.

I joined eagerly this team, to help them out, but now I was starting to figure the actual drawback of a mod like this. Why not invent our own story, at this point?

We can use elements from the book, to create our CG assets, to combine them into a totally new world.

Or, we can just go on and recreate Morrowind using the Creation engine's new architecture. We wouldn't need voice-acting at all for that, just time and patience.

Good question! We're still pointing out the better way to feel the original book's experience.

Actually we're thinking about the possibility to play more than a character, through a Chapter-scripted storyline, or personify a young traveller / knight who gets linked to the main events of the book in different ways.

Major details will be confirmed in the next days.

Feel free to ask and suggest. You'll just improve this total conversione experience!
