Doom 3: Phobos is a 1 episode project which continues the story in Doom 3. It is set in between Doom 3 and its expansion pack, Resurrection of Evil. Doom 3: Phobos will feature more variation than the original 2004 game, and will bring back more of the traits that made the original Dooms successful. Doom 3: Phobos has evolved into a very extensive and ambitious project. We are well on our way of creating an unofficial expansion pack of top quality.

Cool, look like spaceship interior. You could try add more blue lighting and make it looks like Quake4 Hannibal spaceship.

If we did that people would explode due to teal and orange. We are trying to go infuse some more greens and reds in there. So pleased with the result :)

Well, I don't really believe there is much hype around this mod. Perhaps later on when we release a trailer. You can always help generate some hype though ;)

There was, after you shown the Archanotron-trailer thing, It was everywhere like Doomworld, Realm667 etc...The problem with Doom 4 is that it will represent what Doom 3 was representing in a new way and you guys were doing the same as well so if the New game comes out, a lot of people lose interest in the Game before the New one.

Actually we (id and us) are doing completely different things and the games don't really feel all that much like eachother. They are pursuing a simpler, movement focused experience while we are trying to add a few layers of depth to the universe established in Doom3. Sure, we have more action and faster movement too, but I don't see how one (Doom4) detracts from the other (Phobos). Two entirely different projects/games/goals. Anyway, the fact remains that we don't have a lot of hype surrounding us. Doom4 won't change much about it and even if it did there is nothing we can do about that.

We are not running a business. If we were, the mod would have been scrapped at some point in favor of something that would have greater chances at a large audience. That's how it is for our mod specifically and Doom3 mods in general. Especially with only 3 active asset contributors.

Well it matters in interest from Developers as well cause If I were trying to develop a Mod on Doom 3 where I would like to show something happening on the Moon rather then Mars,Deimos etc and then comes Doom 4 and I'm still developing, I won't find it interesting anymore to do it.
Aside from that You guys were really doing a Great thing but, I really think interest has a lot got to do with it rather then the audience...I really hope however that you guys don't give up and finish what you started.

Good thing you are not a developer then ;)
We are the developers of the mod and we still think it's an immensely interesting project. The on and off Doom4 project hasn't really changed anything for me personally. At this point that really is 95% of the reason why I'm still going at it.

The game is what is interesting.

As I don't have PC that's good for Doom4, I'm looking forward to see this mod released :))) It's sad, that Doom3 BFG edition is closed for modding :(

Thank you so much :) There aren't many *new* areas left. This one was made shortly after us playing SOMA. We do believe it shows ;)
