Phobos Incident is going to be a full-fledged campaign for Alien Swarm. It can be considered as a re-imagining or an alternate future for the base that was the place of action in the game Doom. Now four marines are sent to investigate a distress signal in a place that could be Phobos moon base 17 years after. Some things have changed, some have remained.

Just finished with the teaser trailer for Phobos Mission, it shows around the first mission and describes the aim of the campaign project. There were some issues in making it, but fortunately it was nothing major. It's now available in the videos section and in youtube.

Teaser trailer is out

I just finished with the teaser trailer for Phobos Incident campaign. It shows some key locations in the first mission along with a soundtrack many of you might recognize.

If you didn't already know, there's going to be a total of nine missions in this campaign and their layout is practically from Doom. However, the catch is, that this campaign happens about 17 years after the events of the Doom series and many locations may have been modified or repurposed. I decided on this mostly because original Doom series' locations didn't seem to serve any sort of practical purpose, apart from the map names. The first mission is called "Hangar" and will be refitted as such.
