I have some good news for you. The open world is implemented already. Can't say everything about it yet, but stay tuned - I'm going to upload a gameplay on MODDb soon. :-) We'll show you how the mod works, so everyone should watch this before playing.
Server and forum rules will be posted tomorrow. We recomend you guys read it before entering the server.
About the donates - as far as I know some of you wanted to help the whole project by donating. You can do it using PayPal. By supporting PLotR this way you can get some special items. And trust me, these items can save your life from the wild bots many times.
Donated already? Here is what you get for every donate:
5€ - choosen equipment from one of the main factions (Mordor, Isengard, Rohan, Gondor, Dunedains, Elves, Dwarves, Rhun, Harad) - the medium one
10€ - the same thing + choosen mount + random quest
15€ - choosen equipment from one of the main factions(yeah, you can take Easterling or Fountain Guard armor for example) + choosen mount + random quest
20€ - the same thing as below + random quest
25€ - same thing as below + your nickname on your weapon + random spell
50€ - fellowship of the ring member random equipment + random quest + choosen mount + random spell
+100€ - Valar Armors + magic items + random quest + choosen mount
So is it being released this weekend? And quick question.....I know I'm annoying and all, but is this like a role playing server? I mean like, is it like persistent world, where you get over 150k gold to start with? Or is it more like calradian? Because if so, I understand the whole "only one theoden" ordeal, otherwise I don't see the problem with two theoden X having at eachother.....anyways, the mod is looking amazing!

oh yea, and btw, one of my friends on steam, "Mr.Beefy" Said that you should ask youtubers to stream or showcase your mod so it could gain more supporters/players . I think it would be a good idea as well. We need this mod to prosper! Because you put a lot of your time and hard work into it, and it deserves to be more known. your npc ideas truly got me intrigued! amazing work and keep it up!....or if ur done with it and your just tweaking stuff....keep tweaking!!!!

The whole concept is another than it is in PW actually. Just wait for the gameplay, I'm sure this is going to answer all of your questions
