Perfected Doom 3 was started as a simple tweak mod years ago. After realizing that I was still not happy with Doom 3 after making some alterations to weapons and enemy stats I continued to add more to the game. Now Perfected Doom 3 is more then just a tweak mod. It attempts to completely overhaul the entire game with new monsters, rebalanced weapons, rebalanced monster stats, better graphics, new gameplay features and much more. It has been met with great appreciation and acclaim by it's users. This mod will bring many improvements to standard Doom 3 and it's Resurrection of Evil expansion.
Here are a few examples of what to expect from the upcoming texture pack for Perfected Doom 3. This texture pack will contain sharpened textures for every model, menu, and map texture.
Well it still looks better and did you view it in original size (cuz in gallery view its downscaled)? It is sharper, has more contrast and thus is whole lot better. And also this isnt the main mod its only and expansion pack with only textures. Dont insinuate that whole mod is crappy cuz you dont like a single part of it. Did you even play the main mod?
I'm gonna say no he didn't. And I didn't just increase the contrast. I sharpened the textures. You didn't read the description did you?
Its my first time seeing that sharpening makes colors more... how to call this... lively. When i sharpen my photos colours stay the same and herre we can see a difference.
You have to set it up properly to make them actually look better. It took me a while but I got the right set up now. I use this set up for all of the games that I sharpen textures for. It really makes them look more detailed and crisper and not just extra bold in color.
Will you share with me with what software, methods you sharpen textures? If its not a secret ofcourse. You dont have to answer here. Maybe through PM or e-mail?
Because if not for textures i could use it for my photos somtimes i get otherwise amazing shots that are just ot of focus and maybe ill be able to seve them a little bit.
Looks a lot better
Thank you. Like I said, once all of the other graphics features are being used, it's gonna be epic.
