Perfect Dark ... This game had an incredible success, but you already know that. This game would deserve one minute of silence, in order to let us remember all the good moments spent in its company. We're trying to recreate all what we loved with using all the power we need provided by the Source Engine. We all dream to make revive this game, with physics and graphics up to date, with keyboard and mouse, with all the weapons and game mod we loved. An incrediblibly old-school gameplay meeting the next-generation requierements! Questions?

We would certainly not have had another empty month with no news at all like in September, so here we go again with our monthly news. We are now a month before the big red man comes, and much progress was made: brand new website, profusion of models, finalisation of the HUD in hand, weapons’ integration, making the animations...

[MODELLING]

We are pleased to welcome a new member name Louissi, talented modeller as you can see with this AR34 that he entirely realised:


This Magsec4’s model was made by Toadie and textured by Iggy:


Iggy is not in remainder and perseveres in his modelling by realising the case of ammunition and the shield regenerator, two “vital” objects: armor shield (the green core) and ammo box !


Jarhain joined us last month and was not pretending since his arrival in our team. But we can't post any screen of him work now

Most weapons that had been integrated have recently been worked over again, making them more fluid and realistic. No video to show them yet, for lack of time, but next month probably…

[CODING]

We were about to end the HUD, but we did not really fancy it actually… so we will start it all over again under the feather of Iggy, and Slowrage will be coding.

The « King of the Hill” mode is now complete and works perfectly, but Draco wishes we could think again the “game mode”. Therefore, we are starting a third game mode that will not be revealed yet. These modes being available in « free for all” and in teams, this gives us 6 game modes available in the beta release.

As for the weapons, some secondary shots are not fixed yet. We have already started testing the first weapons in terms of rate of fire and damage caused.

[MAPPING]

Mapping has been sort of a bit put aside this past month, focusing our efforts on models ans their integration. Nonetheless, three of our maps are completely ready, and two others are on their way. We have reasons to be sure that these maps should be ready before Father Christmas comes.

[COMMUNITY]

Our website has been remade completely: the code, by Gectou4, links the forum to the portal and catches our advancement by being fed by our working server. The designing was made by Iggy.

By the way, our leader, nominated Gectou4 and Iggy to take his place.
