Perfect Dark ... This game had an incredible success, but you already know that. This game would deserve one minute of silence, in order to let us remember all the good moments spent in its company. We're trying to recreate all what we loved with using all the power we need provided by the Source Engine. We all dream to make revive this game, with physics and graphics up to date, with keyboard and mouse, with all the weapons and game mod we loved. An incrediblibly old-school gameplay meeting the next-generation requierements! Questions?
Video showing the Gameplay on Perfect-Dark: Source in Villa with some weapons that are going to be release in the Beta 1.0.
great video. looks like beta will be a blast! i like the parallels to the old n64 game that you've really been able to capture.
codecs for this video are in the cole2k pack located here: Cole2k.net
Which AVI codec did you guys use to encode this clip? Can't seem to get the bugger to work...
X264 codec. We should redo it in WMV in some days because many people don't have it.
i cant download this or the previous Video every time i use that FileFront website i just get a message saying error login failed so plz make another link or put on youtube, cant wait for your mod , you have my vote!
Filefront doesn't need any account to download at fullspeed, but you can get the video here :
Pdark.lamething.com
i have not been able to use the U.S Filefront site for a long time same problem everytime, also i tried to download from half life 2 files but none of the download servers worked.
link you give worked just fine thanks but do you have another link for Trailer #4
Cheers for the link Mr_Bones, my shoddy old K-Lite pack just couldn't hack it.
Awesome clip! I love how you've managed to implement loads of the effects from the original and seriously improve on the realism of FPS gaming too, especially with bullet penetration & ricochet. So many game designers ignore the little things to their detriment (like the reality that you can't actually fire a shotgun point-blank at a wall without injuring yourself and that getting punched in the head or being near an explosion doesn't just hurt a lot, it totally scrambles your senses). I'll be interested to see how the non-fixed aiming affects player control & the feel of the game.
If you want to test the non-fixed aim, try Smod Tactical, it's a mod for Half Life 2 using a similar stuff. Ours has a bit less spread direction angle so it will even easier to use.
