Players will be able to play as one of their favorite characters in a select number of locations using various weapons to defeat one another. The ultimate goal ? Fun and Frags. Penny Arcade : Birds Are Still Weird Monday Report #2. Two weapons textures and more details about the progress.

It's...close enough to monday to make this post. I have to catch a flight later on today back to Canada...yes..I was on vacation when I pulled out this work so hopefully when I get home I'll be able to pull out more stuff to you quicker. Guns and Ammo and possibly animations will be coming up within the following few weeks and hopefully by then I can push more progress programming wise ( although I'd really like some programming help D: )

I have two things finally textured and finished for ingame use for you :

The shading and objects and weapons  are staying more simplified because the more detail I added just didn't seem to go with the flow in-game. More modelling updates are :

- The ammopacks for the Zapper and Dreamcast Gun have been made as well

- A D20 dice and teaser objects have been modelled but not textured yet

- Undisclosed weapon has been modelled but not textured. ( The weapon to be released in next weeks update ).

All models and characters will be 60% self-illuminated in-game to keep everyone a bit happier with a more cartoony feel, and just for the main purpose that I thought things were looking a little better with the more simplified lighting system. As well as this decision other things have commenced :

- Created some WiP Render layouts ( look above ) instead of just white bg renders 

- Level list has been layed out for beta release

- Preliminary site design has been started

  • CODERS : Looking for source coders to modify the engine to a fully playable, custom animation and custom camera fps/tps.
  • MAPPERS : If you are applying for mapping position please link me to your work and describe your ability ( Basic, Intermediate, Expert ) 

   IF your going to apply please PM me, do not randomly post about.

Next BIGGER update :

  • Ammo Packs for NZ-1 and DCG complete
  • In-Game Rendering of NZ and Tube
  • HuD Design
  • Poster and Concept Art
  • Super Secret Weapon : N-Grenage..ZOMG !

Im realy looking forward to this dude, make sure its realy fast paced, and for some reason i think that there should be some seriouse air time? i know wtf righ? but realy there should be alot of explosions and high flying fun!

yeah i dont know what im talkin about too.

I see people flying through the air like in TF2, those soldiers.... WOOOSH!!! Ya lots of explosions and fun physics
