Great, now make a mod for Max Payne 3 to be more like Max Payne 2, that's much more needed.

I agree, I would have started it one year ago if only Rockstar would have made MP3 moddable (yep, say thanks), instead compared to MP2 the third game is as "closed" as possible. And no, replacing a texture with OpenIV doesn't make it moddable, on MP2 you had almost all the tools to make everything you wanted from day 1, I wouldn't hold my breath for MP3 mods considering that after more than one year you can only change a texture...

Just like Lasha said, it would be a good idea, but I don't think it will happen.

The script limit for new characters has been reached. He can't add any more characters.
So you can mod Payne Evolution and replace one of the other character skins with panama max.
But you would have to rig the model yourself etc.

Hi, thanks for replying Andersen, i did as you said, and it wasn't that hard to rig him (thanks to 3dsMax) would you like a gander at the model?

If I could, I'd do that. I wonder if it's difficult to do it.

Frame Rate drop is probably more related to your PC's specs than this mod. Though this mod does need a heavier pc than what the usual mp2 does.

And the execute does work. In DMW he punches instead of the takedowns. Up close to an enemy press E and watch it happen. There can be some times where the takedown isnt activated on max while the enemy still plays is death animation. But rarely this happens compared to it working flawlessly. So keep trying :)

I'm surprised at the things you were able to do with the Original Engine, and how you were able to get a functioning bullet time system and gun handling system like that of Max Payne 3. I like the little things in the mod, like how you can drink bottles of Kong Scotch and have that 'drunk' effect. Also how Max has periodical flashbacks in certain situations. The "Dead man Walking" feels just like Arcade mode in MP3, and that you took bits from other mods you made like Payne Effects 3 and Max Payne…
