Got it to run had to force single core affinity. Used CPU-Control v 2.2 automaticly set CPU affinity to 1 for MaxPayne2.exe. Runs smoothly. Will upload this tool to my profile.

Great, so these are the common solutions:
- Set compatibility to Win XP or Win 98
- Set cpu affinity to 1
- Place this file in main game folder if you have ATI and none of the above worls: Fbe.am

Im not using compatibility fix or placing files imn main directory, also did not revert to earlier drivers.

Only set affinity to 1 with tool i mentioned.

Cahnging it through task manager won't do it has to be set while launching the game.

And cahnging affinity through task man can be done only while the game is already running.

Meaning that when you start MP2 it already goes hiwire as it cannot choose specific core and task man is not able to change MP2 processes afinity on the fly.

Affinity resets after manually killing the task.

Whit tool mentioned (CPU-Control) set on automatic it will detect launching processes and change affinity on the launch not after. Basicly MP2 will se your CPU as single core at the start.

Here some trick i just found when play this, i don't know it gonna work on your system but it work for me. When you want some other weapon ammo, simply switch back to your base gun(here is 38 Revolver) Then press F to pickup the ammo (or gun). Always work. Try the same when you want pickup 38 Revolver ammo.
*Remember: When a gun drop under a ragdoll (dead body), you couldn't take them. :)

Thanks for sharing. Another good behaviour is to stay as close as possible to the gun you want to pickup while at the same time stay as far as possible from any other pickup.
Anyway can I pick up weapons from under dead bodies all the time, so if you have this result then it's another unwanted behaviour, sadly...

It sounds like the mod can't find the levels, the levels are in the file called "MPE_levels.ras" that you have unpacked in the game folder with the "Payne Evolution.mp2m", is this true? If not please re-download the whole mod and repead the Installation Guide.

I'm surprised at the things you were able to do with the Original Engine, and how you were able to get a functioning bullet time system and gun handling system like that of Max Payne 3. I like the little things in the mod, like how you can drink bottles of Kong Scotch and have that 'drunk' effect. Also how Max has periodical flashbacks in certain situations. The "Dead man Walking" feels just like Arcade mode in MP3, and that you took bits from other mods you made like Payne Effects 3 and Max Payne…
